LGBT Pride March Cancelled in New York City for First Time in Half Century Due to Coronavirus Concerns

The LGBT pride march in New York City has been cancelled for the first time in 50 years due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Since these pro-degeneracy events have been organized for a half century, they have never been cancelled. This marks the first time that homosexuals and transgenders will not flaunt their lifestyle in public since 1970.

“This probably will not surprise you,” De Blasio announced during a coronavirus briefing that the LGBT pride parade would be cancelled along with the scheduled Celebrate Israel and Puerto Rican Day parades. He nevertheless vowed that these events would go on in some format “when it’s the right time.”

“This year is the 50th anniversary of the pride parade, and it’s a very, very big deal,” De Blasio added. “That march is such an important part of life in this city, but this year in particular it was going to be something that was a historic moment.”

The LGBT community is planning to have some type of worldwide event in June so depravity can be celebrated remotely despite the pandemic.

“It will peak in time zones around the world, and in each of those time zones, those regional pride organizations and those local pride organizations will be directly involved in that programming component,” said Ron deHarte, co-president of the United States Association of Prides and a member of the InterPride organizing committee.

DeHarte says that “the plan is to have this 24-hour program that will be a worldwide celebration of pride.”

Big League Politics has reported on how LGBT pride parades have become violent and destructive spectacles where children are targeted and groomed by soulless predators:

A Chick-fil-A in Manhattan was vandalized during a gay pride parade on Sunday, as an LGBT terror mob wanted to send a statement to Christians nationwide.

The mob put “F**k haters” on the windows alongside a red “X” targeting the Christian-friendly restaurant chain. In an ironic twist, the mob also put up a sign claiming “LOVE is a terrible thing to waste” as they committed their senseless acts of violence.

The mainstream media celebrated these events over the weekend, which brought Pride Month to its merciful end.

“We’re finally, we’re moving a step forward, you know? There’s a lot still to do, we’re not there yet, but this is a celebration where, like, screaming that you’re gay is actually finally a celebration and not a bullying or a pointing finger against you,” one parade goer said to CBS News.

“For a long time, we were very repressed and wouldn’t, couldn’t come out, couldn’t be ourselves, and this way, we are celebrating with all the world. We’re celebrating with gay, trans, lesbian, everybody, and it’s very inclusive this year,” a Long Island woman said.

One display in the final days of Pride Month showed scantily clad minorities twerking above a cop car, as the degenerates openly flaunted their disdain the rule of law. Other displays during Pride Month were even more perverse, including a drag queen stripper doing a live show for children.

Perhaps a silver lining of the coronavirus pandemic is that it provides an impediment for LGBT degeneracy to fester throughout Western Civilization.
