Liberals Freak Out at Sen. Rand Paul for Opposing Bailout of Bankrupt U.S. Postal Service

The postal service is a new false idol for the satanic Left.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is getting eviscerated by unhinged leftists on Twitter for criticizing their newest sacred cow: the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

Paul said to U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy during a Senate hearing on Friday that the USPS should cut staff and make tough decisions, rather than expecting a federal bailout to keep their bankrupt operation afloat a little longer.

“We started that a few years ago, but we’ve got to do more of it,” Paul said. “The mail keeps dropping, you’ve got to have less employees.”

Paul is staunchly against giving the USPS more money unless they agree to concrete reforms that will put the agency on the road to solvency. He has blasted the USPS frequently in recent days.

“You might as well put it into a big pile on your front lawn and burn it,” Paul said to Fox News’ Neal Cavuto about the ridiculous notion of giving more federal money to the USPS.

“There is no way to give any money to the post office to make the post office redeemable. You cannot fix the post office unless you fix their labor problem,” he added.

The American Postal Workers Union, desperate to protect their racket from scrutiny, blasted Paul on Twitter for making his comments in favor of fiscal sanity.

The rest of the Left soon followed, spewing invective at Paul speaking the truth about their precious government bureaucrats. Some of the commentators even endorsed terrorism against Paul.

Big League Politics has reported about the baseless conspiracy theories circulated by Democrats in recent days about the USPS:

The social media giant Twitter is refusing to take down fake news and conspiracy theories about the U.S. Postal System (USPS), presumably because the frenzied chatter may hurt President Donald Trump’s push for electoral integrity.

After President Trump pointed out that the USPS lacks the competence and resources to handle millions of mail-in ballots, liberals went frantic posting baseless conspiracy theories on Twitter about how Trump is at war with the postal service…

A spokesman for Twitter confirmed to National Review that the posts will stay up on the platform despite being proven to be false. They are keeping the misinformation up despite having fact checked President Donald Trump’s tweets regarding mail-in voting back in May.

Because of Trump Derangement Syndrome, the modern Left has devolved into a soulless hate cult. They will either be crushed, or civilization as we know it will be no more.

Democrat Congressmen Introduce Term Limits Legislation for SCOTUS Justices As Trump Prepares Nominee

Interesting timing.

Three Democrat members of Congress are introducing legislation to institute term limits for Supreme Court justices, as President Trump prepares to nominate his third candidate for the court following the death of progressive liberal Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Democrats Joe Kennedy, Ro Khanna, and Don Beyer are proposing legislation that would limit SCOTUS justice to a maximum term of eighteen years on the court.

Khanna has proposed an idea that would allow Presidents to appoint two judges in each term. “Senior” members of the court would be required to basically retired for every new member of the court.

It’s pretty funny the Democrats are uniting behind these proposals the moment they appear primed to lose control of the Supreme Court for a generation. They weren’t complaining when Obama was trying to replace Antonin Scalia with progressive Merrick Garland, even going so far as claiming that the stealth liberal was entitled to the seat. Reports emerging Friday suggest that President Donald Trump intends to nominate Amy Coney Barrett, a mostly conservative judge with a pro-life and immigration hawk judicial record.

The judicial branch of government is arguably the most flawed element of American governance, and it’s highly questionable how institutions such as the Supreme Court are able to appoint themselves a nearly unlimited amount of political power.

A better reform proposals would be to institute term limits for justices that only go into effect after the current members of the court vacate their seats. Anything else is simply a political power grab.
