Loomer Dubs Anti-Israel Congressional Electees the ‘HAMAS Caucus’

Investigative journalist andĀ Big League PoliticsĀ contributor Laura Loomer blasted the newly-elected members of Congress who have a history of anti-Israel sentiment.

“I forgot to tell you guys, my friends and I last week decided that the new Jew haters in Congress shall be referred to as the ā€œHAMAS caucusā€ from this point onward,” she said on Twitter early Monday morning.

HAMAS, of course, is the Islamist Palestinian terrorist organization.

Democrat Rashida Tlaib of Michigan’s 13th Congressional district, who is one of two Muslim women elected to Congress, was draped in a Palestinian flagĀ during her election victory party on the evening of Nov. 6.

Her fellow Muslim Congresswoman, Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar infamously Tweeted that “Israel has hypnotized the world.”

“May Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel,” she said.Ā

The Tweet is still live.

Omar also lied during the election, saying that she did not support the BDS movement against Israel. She flip-flopped on that position the day after she was elected.

Democrat Deb Haaland of New Mexico, who made headlines as the first Native American Congresswoman (so much for Sen. Elizabeth Warren), has also expressed anti-Israeli sentiment online.

“The murder of 60 Palestinians in Gaza just as Ramadan begins weigh heavy on my heart today. The youngest was just 8 months old. Here are their names,” she said, before starting a thread with the names of the dead Palestinians.

The Palestinians who were killed were among 35,000 who stormed and attempted to breach the Israeli border in “protest” of the move of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem in May. Haaland characterized their deaths as “murders.”

And then there is the generally clueless Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, who will parrot whichever progressive talking point she is instructed to parrot. During her campaign she criticized the Israeli “occupation of Palestine,” and also referred to the aforementioned Israeli border defense as a “massacre.”

Loomer confronted Tlaib and Omar at a campaign event in August and asked the pair to denounce HAMAS. Both refused. The event culminated in Tlaib assaulting Loomer on video.
