Loudoun County School Board Member Resigns After Report on Coverup of Transgender Sexual Assault
A Loudoun County, Virginia school board member resigned on Friday, with the far-left school board rocked over reports of a coverup of sexual assault against a female high school by a transgender classmate in a bathroom.
Beth Barts announced her resignation from the school board hours after Loudoun County Public Schools superintendent Dr. Scott Ziegler came clean and apologized to the people of Loudoun County for the coverup enacted by the school board.
“First, let me say to the families and students involved — my heart aches for you and I am sorry that we failed to provide the safe, welcoming, and affirming environment that we aspire to provide,” said Ziegler during his Friday apology.
Daily Wire reporter Luke Rosiak had exposed a Loudoun County man’s account of his ninth-grade daughter being sexually assaulted by a cross-dressing classmate in a bathroom, only for Stone Bridge High School to cover it up. The alleged assailant is currently facing criminal charges within the juvenile justice system. Scott Smith, the victim’s father, was inexplicably charged with disorderly conduct crimes for organizing a protest of the far-left school board with other parents, when it became clear the local government was seeking to sweep evidence of the sexual assault under the rug in pursuit of sanitizing a transgender agenda.
New reports have suggested Loudoun County schools even permitted the same student charged with sexually assaulting Mr. Smith’s daughter- a youth who has reportedly admitted to the initial crime- to return to another Loudoun school, where he is accused of sexually assaulting yet another student. Parents have voiced fury that the juvenile sex offender was returned to a school to further victimize their children.
“How could you allow this alleged sexual predator to return to a Loudoun County public school before the court was wrapped up with our court situation,” said Smith of the second incident. An ANTIFA-affiliated extremist group had waged a defamation campaign against Smith for protecting his own daughter, seeking to slander the man in the community. The Loudoun County school district is one of the most leftist in the country, implementing a set of wide-ranging anti-white critical race theory curriculum in classrooms.
Parents who desire a decent and safe environment for their children are left with no alternative but to consider private education options.
