Louisiana Senator John Kennedy Endorses Kari Lake For US Senate

On May 9, 2024 Louisiana Republican Senator John Kennedy endorsed Arizona Senate Republican candidate Kari Lake.
Kennedy deflated that Lake will put America first, fight to protect the United States’ southern border with Mexico and resist Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s agenda if she is elected to the Senate.
“I’m endorsing Kari Lake for Senate in Arizona. As a mother, Kari understands the challenges facing Arizona families, and she will fight to secure our border, cut costs for hardworking Americans, and revive the American Dream. Kari’s dedication to putting America first and her fierce determination to stand against Chuck Schumer’s radical agenda make her our best choice to represent Arizona in the Senate. I urge all Arizonans to support Kari Lake and our shared vision for a stronger, more prosperous future for our nation,” Kennedy said to the Daily Caller.
Lake previously ran for governor in 2022, where she was defeated by her Democratic rival Katie Hobbs by a margin of 50.3% to 49.6%. She is heavily favored to win the Republican primary.
If she comes out on top as the primary candidate, Lake will subsequently face Democratic Congresman Ruben Gallego in the general election.
“Senator Kennedy has been a warrior for conservatives in the Senate. He has advocated for policies that put the American people first and worked to hold Biden accountable. I am excited to work with him in the Senate to put America back on track,” Lake said to the Daily Caller after hearing Kennedy would be giving her an endorsement.
Lake has received an endorsement from former President Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, Wyoming Senator John Barrasso, Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton, Tennessee Senator Bill Hagerty, Kansas Senator Roger Marshall, Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville, Indiana Congressman Jim Banks, and New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. On top of that, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has endorsed Lake.
Should Lake be elected, Republicans will have a much-needed America First addition to the Senate. Congress needs a huge culture change and Lake is more than able to make that happen.
