Man Who FIRED FIRST in Fatal Kenosha Shootout is Charged With Gun Crime by Wisconsin Prosecutors

A man who shot a firearm at the fateful Kenosha, Wisconsin riot of August 25th has been charged with disorderly conduct and use of a dangerous weapon, according to new charging documents obtained by the Gateway Pundit.

Documents detailing charges against 35-year old Joshua Ziminski indicate that the man was seen on camera “holding a black handgun, which he was holding in his left hand, pointing downward. Detective Howard reports that in reviewing multiple other videos, he was able to see the defendant and Kelly Ziminski, in and around multiple other people on the streets, and the defendant was seen holding the handgun down at his side in said videos.

Kyle Rittenhouse, the militia-affiliated teenager since charged with multiple counts of murder, can be seen reacting to a gunshot- supposedly a “warning shot” moments before he was attacked by convicted child rapist Joseph Rosenbaum. Rittenhouse shot and killed Rosenbaum after a brief struggle over the AR-style rifle he was carrying. He shot two more leftist rioters who assailed him with guns and skateboards in the following moments.

Ziminski, who was present at the Jacob Blake race riot in Kenosha, would go on to admit to police investigating the Kenosha shootout that he had fired a “warning shot” that night. His actions appear to have been crucial in instigating violence during the criminal riot, and it’s entirely possible that Rosenbaum may not have attacked Rittenhouse if not for the sudden occurrence of a warning shot.

In another video, the defendant and Kelly are seen walking near a fire in the area of the Ultimate Gas Station lot. In later video, the defendant’s right arm is seen on the video, which is taken near 63rd Street and Sheridan Road, in the City and County of Kenosha, State of Wisconsin. Detective Howard reports the defendant’s arm pointing the gun upward towards the sky,” the charging document explains.

Detective Howard observed a muzzle flash emit from the handgun, and heard a gunshot at the same time. In another video, the defendant is clearly seen at that same location. The defendant is seen walking in the same area, holding his right arm upwards, and firing off one shot from his handgun. The defendant and his wife are then seen leaving the area. Several other people are in the nearby vicinity when the defendant fires the handgun.

Most (non-leftist) gun owners are broadly aware that firing a “warning shot” in a dangerous situation is a poor situation more likely to instigate violence than it is to prevent. This leftist thought he was going to coerce an armed teenager into behavior of one form or another by firing shots in the sky.
