Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls Out Nikki Haley for Being a Neocon

Former South Carolina Governor and United States Ambassador to the United Nations  Nikki Haley made waves on February 14, 2023 when she announced that she would be running for the presidency in the 2024 presidential election.

Naturally, Haley was attacked by various factions of the nationalist Right, who largely view Haley’s campaign as a concerted effort to de-Trumpify the GOP and revert to George W. Bush-era neoconservatism.

Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was among the most vocal opponents of Haley’s presidential campaign announcement. She tweeted on February 15, 2023:

Nikki Haley is just another George (or Jeb!) Bush.

She is weak on the border, doesn’t want a wall, claimed “Legal Immigrants are more patriotic than most Americans these days,” and she defended Obama when Pres. Trump criticized his terrible open-borders policy.

And Nikki Haley refused to support a transgender bathroom bill to protect children.

If we wanted a “Bush in heels,”Republicans would vote for Liz Cheney.

Greene is correct in criticizing Haley. She is the GOP donor class’s preferred candidate and a fixture of the political establishment. A Nikki Haley presidency would be marked by neocon saber-rattling against the Eurasian powers — China, Iran, and Russia — who are most opposed to the US’s unipolar mindset.  In addition, a Haley administration would do little to contain the anti-white mob and advance Republican-versions of minority benefits plans.

Most importantly, Haley will likely do little to contain the mass migration wave that has rocked America since Joe Biden was installed as president in 2021. In fact, there is reason to believe that Haley will pay lip service to border security but could likely be pressured to sign off on amnesty and/or expand legal immigration. All in all, Haley is a rebranded neocon.

For these and other reasons, Haley’s candidacy must be opposed at all costs.
