Maryland Teachers’ Association Blames ‘Dangerous’ Tests with ‘White-Centered Contexts’ for Failing Scores

The Maryland State Education Association (MSEA) is blaming evil white racists for minorities having low test scores in public schools.

Instead of maybe looking into the mirror and seeing how poor of a job the educators themselves are doing, the teachers’ association is blaming evil whitey instead. They said tests are racist in the “racial and social justice” portion of their website.

“MSEA has a long tradition of opposing dangerous standardized tests that for so many years left strong students behind because of the white-centered contexts, and strongly advocating for culturally relevant pedagogy and instructional practices, restorative approaches to maintain safe and healthy school communities, the use of trauma-informed best practices and a focus on social-emotional learning, and unencumbered access to equitable opportunities for all students,” they stated.

“We believe that the lives of our Black and Brown students matter and that all students have a fundamental right to be educated in safe, healthy, and supportive learning communities and all educators deserve safe, healthy, and supportive working environments.” the MSEA added.

The MSEA is an affiliate of the National Education Association and represents over 76,000 individuals in the state.

“Emails obtained by the Americans for Public Trust have shown the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released recommendations for all school children to be masked after pressure from the teachers unions.

The far-left National Education Association (NEA) sent an email to the White House outraged by the CDC’s previous guidance that did not demand the permanent masking of children. Shortly after, the CDC changed their guidelines to recommend masking of all school children regardless of vaccination status.

“This batch of emails came just weeks after we already exposed the teachers unions influenced the CDC on school openings,” Americans for Public Trust Executive Director Caitlin Sutherland said to Fox News. “Lo and behold, less than two weeks later, they’re at it again, but this time in relation to mask guidance.”

… The COVID regime is the biggest crime in history, and the teachers unions and public health bureaucrats are directly responsible for inflicting this senseless terror regime on children. They should be punished as child abusers before this is all said and done.”

In a diverse nation, the pathetic and incompetent can just cry racism and be shielded from all consequences from their actions. This is the opposite of progress.
