#MeToo Leader Alyssa Milano Disavows Linda Sarsour

Published

on

Left-wing activist and television actress Alyssa Milano has disavowed Linda Sarsour, the other informal #MeToo leader whose activism has engendered widespread accusations of anti-Semitism.

Advocate reports (emphasis added):

This month, Milano made headlines regarding a confrontation with her own critics. While discussing how #TimesUp is moving the conversation further on a panel at Politicon, a Los Angeles political event, she was confronted by Laura Loomer, a far-right reporter and conspiracy theorist who has been long entangled with Project Veritas.

“My question is for you, Alyssa Milano. You are friends with Linda Sarsour, and both of you ladies have positioned yourselves as speakers and representatives of the #MeToo movement,” Loomer asked Milano, referring to one of the cofounders of the wildly successful Women’s March who is also a Muslim rights activist.

“I want to ask you right now to disavow Linda Sarsour because she is a supporter of Sharia law. And under Sharia law, women are oppressed, women are forced to wear a hijab,” Loomer probed. “My question is, will you please disavow her because she is advocating for Sharia law?”

“She’s not,” Milano responded at the time. “She’s not. But thank you so much for your question.”

“I don’t even want to give that moment a second breath,” Milano tells The Advocate. “Just the fact that Laura Loomer is being considered a journalist to me means that she’s been given enough airtime.”

But Loomer was on the hunt for more. After security escorted the increasingly disruptive reporter out, she took to the internet to call Milano a “liar and fraud.”

However, Milano is disavowing Sarsour. But not because of the Islamophobic conspiracies Loomer would like readers to believe.

“Any time that there is any bigotry or anti-Semitism in that respect, it needs to be called out and addressed. I’m disappointed in the leadership of the Women’s March that they haven’t done it adequately,” Milano says now, referring to leaders of the Women’s March who’ve refused to denounce Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan‘s anti-Semitic, homophobic, and transphobic statements.

Advocate passage ends

Haley Kennington reported yesterday for BLP:

Can someone explain how this works? In the wake of the Pennsylvania synagogue shooting on Sunday, leaders of The Women’s March, who have openly embraced anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, held a “vigil” outside the White House to protest Antisemitism.

The “vigil” was led by none other than Linda Sarsour, proud supporter of anti-Semite Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrkhan.

The Women’s March (@womensmarch) tweeted on Sunday:

“Today we are turning our grief to action with @jewishaction to send a clear message that these anti-semitic and xenophobic attacks can never happen again.
If you’re not in DC, tune in around 3pm to our Facebook page to watch and share the livestream. http://www.facebook.com/womensmarchonwash

It’s interesting how they have tried to group “anti-Semitism” in with “xenophobia” trying to connect violence against the Jewish people with a broader campaign against those opposing immigration.

In a subsequent tweet, you can clearly see Linda Sarsour addressing the crowd:

“We’ve gathered outside the with and communities of faith to echo the call: . Tune into the livestream here:

The organization Jewish Action is the same group who called President Trump to stay away from any memorial service being held for victims of the Pittsburgh shooting until he denounced white supremacy.

Sarsour and other Women’s March leaders Carmen Perez and Tamkia Mallory, all consider arguably the nation’s most public anti-Semite, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan their friend. Farrakhan just last week referred to Jews as “termites” who needed to be exterminated.

MINISTER FARRAKHAN (@LouisFarrakhan) tweeted:

“I’m not an anti-Semite. I’m anti-Termite.”…

Two Men Arrested for Planning Terrorist Attack on Trump Tower in Support of ISIS

They’re from South Carolina and Texas.

The FBI has arrested two men and charged them with planning terrorist attacks on locations such as New York’s Trump Tower in support of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

Kristopher Sean Matthews of South Carolina and Jaylyn Christopher Molina of Texas have been charged with conspiring to provide material support or resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

Matthews adopted the pseudonym Ali Jibreel, and Molina the name Abdur Rahim.

The pair allegedly plotted to attack government facilities and New York’s Trump Tower, discussing their plans in jihadist chatrooms. They were busted by federal informants within these honeypots.

We need to stick together, we need to defeat them, we need to take a lot of casualties,” said Molina of the pair’s plotting. Molina spoke of his allegiance to ISIS in the server. “You are my enemy (America) and never will I wear your flag … but I will raise the black flag of Allah.

They also spoke of the proposition of traveling to Syria in order to fight for ISIS, an idea that would’ve almost certainly resulted in their quick capture or death. American citizens caught fighting for ISIS on foreign battlefields have proven to be a legal nightmare for American military and civil law to manage.

Both were arrested on Monday. They face a maximum penalty of twenty years in prison, with a lifetime of supervised release.

These clowns didn’t get very far in actually planning acts of violence in support of ISIS, and they seem to have somewhat missed the boat- ISIS has largely been defeated by American-backed Kurdish militias and the Iraqi and Syrian governments. But they deserve punishment nonetheless.
