Michael Moore: White Texans Don’t Deserve COVID-19 Vaccine

Left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore called for the COVID-19 vaccine to be reserved for Texans who aren’t white in a tweet thread slamming Texas’ decision to rescind its mask mandate, at first stating that Texans didn’t deserve the coronavirus vaccine because of the state’s refusal to implement mask restrictions permanently.

After some Democrats criticized Moore’s embrace of a medical embargo on Texas, the hateful filmmaker clarified his proposal. Moore said that the poor and members of non-white groups should be vaccinated, with most White Texans seemingly banned from receiving the vaccine.

The anti-white racist only reveals his own ignorance. Texas Governor Greg Abbott cited the coronavirus vaccine expressly as a cause to roll back COVID-19 restrictions, with the vaccine more effectively enabling individuals to reintegrate into social society. Mississippi followed the Lone Star State in terminating its mask mandate on Tuesday, and several other red states are moving to finally take statewide mask mandates out of the picture in addition to reopening schools.

Moore’s proposal for racial restriction of President Trump’s COVID-19 vaccine also amounts to a medical crime against humanity, practiced by totalitarian regimes throughout history in times of disease. During the Medieval Black Plague, Jews and other minority groups were at times blamed for the disease, in roughly analogous fashion to Moore’s libelous remarks.

If Moore is so worried about the impacts of Texas’ measured COVID-19 policy on public health, maybe he should take a look in the mirror. Obesity is estimated to be among the most harmful and costly threats to public health in America, with the most overweight at severe risk of incurring a serious case of COVID-19.
