Missouri Attorney General Announces that Biden Regime/ Big Tech Lawsuit is a Major Priority

Towards the end of January, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey announced that a lawsuit arguing that the federal government colluded with social media to censor certain speech is one of his main priorities.

Former Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt originally filed the lawsuit against the Biden regime in May 2022. Schmitt was elected to the United States Senate in November. He was accompanied by Louisiana’s AG Jeff Landry.

According to Dan Frieth of Reclaim the Net, back in July, “a judge granted the plaintiff’s motion for discovery to support a potential preliminary injunction.” Bailey stated that the depositions used throughout the case will likely lead to an injunction.

“We have documentary evidence, we have testimonial evidence and we intend to seek more evidence in the coming weeks,” Bailey said to local news outlet The Center Square. “We’re on an expedited discovery timeline. At some point, we’re going to get into a procedural posture where we’re going to ask for an injunction to prevent further coercion and collusion from the federal government and prevent Biden and his team from censoring speech.”

Bailey recently tweeted emails from Robert Flaherty, the White House Digital Director, to social media platforms. One of the emails exposed Flaherty for asking Facebook why a video with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson talking about Wuhan virus vaccines had not been taken down for being in violation of Community Standards.

“What we’ve demonstrated and what we believe is going on is censorship because it’s unelected federal bureaucrats targeting specific speech that they disfavor and asking that it be removed from big-tech social media platforms,” Bailey proclaimed. “That’s the problem. It stifles free, fair, and open debate and it undermines our First Amendment. There should be a marketplace of ideas that is free from government censorship.”

States like Missouri have the right idea here. They need to fight back against the Biden regime’s anti-freedom scheme and re-assert the sovereignty they once enjoyed when the government grew into a massive behemoth in the 20th century. The Deep State is not going to be defeated with logical arguments. It’s going to take lawfare and strong legislative action to put these bad actors in their place.
