Is there a reason why so many in the leftist media appear to be strangely sympathetic to pedophilia? In some cases, it appears there might even be a few reporters that subscribe to the ideology themselves! A New York group specializing in exposing child-sex predators seemed to all but confirm this after they posted a video online Friday busting a potential pedophile who appeared to be NBC anchor Zach Wheeler.
Wheeler had driven an approximate total of 3 hours in order to meet up with a 15-year-old boy for sex, the group claims.
The MSNBC reporter first reacted to the crew’s confrontation by denying outright that he ever intended to have sex with a young child, saying he was instead only there to “talk” with him and to help him “get off these apps.”
He soon became more confrontational, asking 607 Predator Hunters, the group recording the film, “why do you guys do this to gay and lesbian people?”
Wheeler continued, asking the predator hunters if they were simply there to “ruin people’s lives” before complaining that 607 would “ruin my whole entire life” and he is soon “going to lose my job and everything.”
He later asked the group if they “need money.”
WEM made a post on their Facebook page Sunday acknowledging the incident’s occurrence.
“WETM has been made aware of a video posted to YouTube regarding one of our employees,” the statement read. “The local group that posted the video claims that the employee engaged in inappropriate behavior. WETM management is looking into the questions raised by the video, and the employee will remain off the air until the situation is resolved. No charges have been filed in connection with the video.”
Fox News reported that Wheeler is no longer listed on the “Meet the Team” section of the WETM website.
A spokesman representing the 607 Predator Hunters told Fox News Sunday that their video exposes that child predators “can be deceiving” and are often “hiding in plain sight.”
“Their true ‘behind closed doors’ activities can be eye-opening,” representatives of 607 said. “It’s our job to help make the local area aware and expose these individuals.”
“It’s been great to see the community itself spreading the word,” they continued, before adding that “is what really keeps our children safe.”
