MUST WATCH: COVID Survivor and Medical Doctor Rand Paul Takes Dr. Fauci to School on Bogus Predictions
Rand Paul unloaded on Dr. Anthony Fauci on May 12, 2020 during a Senate hearing where Senators grilled Fauci about the government’s response to the Wuhan virus.
Paul has been a major skeptic of many state governments’ handling of the pandemic. The Kentucky Senator called attention to the very uneven impact the virus has had across the nation.
Many journalists on Twitter were incensed by Paul’s remarks. Aaron Rupar of Vox covered one of Paul’s main objections to the government’s response.
Rand Paul: "In rural states we never really reached any sort of pandemic levels in Kentucky and other states … outside of New England, we've had a relatively benign course for this virus nationwide." (More than 81,000 Americans are dead.) pic.twitter.com/tQSZvU6gfx

Paul also brought up points about the negative impact of keeping kids at home and preventing them from going back to school.

Paul dropped the final hammer on Fauci towards the end of his speech by saying that ““As much as I respect you Dr. Fauci, I don’t think you’re the end all. I don’t think you’re the one person who gets to make a decision.”

Unlike most health experts and busybody politicians, Paul understands the overall impact of shutdowns.
The Wuhan virus does pose a threat, but it does not necessitate such a heavy-handed response from the government which cause even more harm and ruin the economic livelihoods of millions of Americans
Dr. Fauci on the other hand remains steadfast in his belief that the U.S. should not reopen quickly.
Fauci stated the following at the virtual testimony from his home in Washington:
“My concern is that if some areas, city, states, or what have you, jump over those various checkpoints, and prematurely open up without having the capability of being able to respond effectively and efficiently, my concern is that we will start to see little spikes that might turn into outbreaks.”
More and more Americans are becoming skeptical of Fauci’s approach to the pandemic. With numerous citizens across the country being subjected to unconstitutional shutdowns that infringe on civil liberties, Americans are gradually waking up to the reality that governments have not only bungled in their approach to combatting the pandemic, but they’re also taking advantage of it to advance anti-freedom policies.
