National Coronavirus Deaths Nearly Double Under Biden’s Watch in Less Than a Year

US Deaths from the coronavirus disease have nearly doubled under the watch of President Joe Biden, with Biden slated to preside over more coronavirus deaths than Donald Trump did with far less time in office.
The Centers for Disease Control indicate that 378,955 people have died of coronavirus since Joe Biden assumed the presidential throne. 396,442 people had died of the Chinese disease before Biden arrived, a figure that Biden’s death toll is slated to easily surpass well before he reaches a full year in office on January 20th, 2022.
Biden had plainly blamed the death toll of the coronavirus on Donald Trump before entering office, claiming during the final presidential debate in October 2020 between the two men that “anyone who’s responsible for that many deaths… should not remain as President of the United States of America.”
Biden’s signature campaign promise as a candidate involved “shutting down the virus,” advertising a supposed capability to put a halt to the pandemic through the use of governmental policy. Such a bold claim appears just as naive in hindsight as attempts to dismiss the coronavirus itself as “no biggie,” dismissing the reality that no President or government can simply shut a highly transmissible global disease.
The continuing death toll has led some to raise serious questions about the efficacy of the vaccines, which have been widely available during Joe Biden’s presidency to an extent unlike Trump’s reign. More Americans are unwilling to heed seemingly endless stay-at-home and social distancing demands, but fatalities of vaccinated people from the disease continue.
Biden has offered little to actually deter the spread of the disease other than advertising the vaccine, with Americans indicating that coronavirus remains a potent concern for themselves even as the mainstream media finds it increasingly inconvenient to talk about.
