NATIONAL EMERGENCY: Nearly 90 Percent of Illegals Dumped in U.S. No-Show Court Hearings

New information released by the federal government confirms what has been feared by immigration hawks for months, that nearly 9-in-10 illegal aliens caught invading at the U.S. southern border no show their court dates as they await asylum hearings.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials told Congress this month that their agency has concluded a pilot program to test migrant compliance with the law. Partnering with the Department of Justice (DOJ), they were able to gauge how many illegal aliens would actually show up to asylum hearings after being dumped into the U.S.

They found that a startling 87 percent of illegal aliens who were released into U.S. cities never bothered showing up for their asylum cases. With such extreme rates of non-compliance, ICE officers are tasked with locating and deporting the illegal lawbreakers, but they lack the resources to do so effectively.

“That particular population, as we continue to release into the interior hundreds if not thousands of family units into the interior every week, is of grave concern as it relates to these individuals not appearing before immigration judges and now being fugitives,” the ICE official said.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released 5,000 illegal border crossers into the U.S. over Memorial Day weekend alone. They are anticipated to release 455,000 of these illegals into the U.S. by the end of the year if current rates continue, in addition to a half-million illegals who are anticipated to sneak into the country without being detected by law enforcement.

This is an unprecedented border emergency, and the situation is worsening rapidly despite the best efforts of President Donald Trump. He is getting tough with Mexico, slapping tariffs on the nation, in an attempt to rectify the damage.

While Trump’s measures may make an impact, it cannot undo the damage that has already been done. Republican lawmakers in Washington D.C. continue to promote the status quo despite the fact that their constituents want tougher border security.

12 Republican Senators, including Sens. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), joined the crusade of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and voted to oppose Trump’s emergency measures declaration at the U.S. southern border. This is happening while pro-business Republican establishment lobbyists infiltrate the White House to prevent Trump from closing the border.

It will remain an uphill battle for Trump to close the border and fulfill the immigration mandate of his ‘America First’ agenda.
