NATO Plans on Increasing Ammunition Stockpiles to Continue Proxy War Against Russia
On February 21, 2023, North Atlantic Treaty Organization Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that NATO has carried out a comprehensive inventory of its ammunition stockpiles and will establish new goals for Europe’s defense industry to crank up their production. The NATO chief made this announcement during a press conference with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kuleba.
“We have completed an extraordinary survey of munitions stockpiles,” he commented, “We met with defense industry last fall and continue to engage with them. And we will increase our targets for munitions stockpiles.”
Indeed, the EU has lost its dignity and has become the poodle for the Anglo-American geopolitical establishment. Instead of shifting the bulk of its military resources to defend its maritime and land borders from migrant invaders, the EU is committed to fighting a looney proxy war against a nuclear power in Russia, much to its defense sector’s detriment. In time, the EU will become totally dependent on the US for arms sales and not be able to provide much of its defense. This dynamic applies to the EU’s energy needs as well, where it will now be relying on much more expensive American liquefied natural gas just to keep the lights on.
Things are dire for the Old Continent and that may be an understatement. A nationalist elite that understands the merits of foreign policy restraint is what Europe needs to avert a geopolitical debacle of catastrophic proportions.
