Never Trumper Erick Erickson Gets Giddy Over the Idea of a Pence-Haley Ticket

Conservative gatekeeper Erick Erickson is floating the neoconservative wet dream of a Pence-Haley ticket for 2020.
He tweeted, “Whispers: A Pence-Haley ticket would be awesome.”
It is no secret that Erickson has been one of the loudest Never Trump voices so far in the Trump era.
One fantasy Never Trumpers have had is putting establishment darling Nikki Haley on the 2020 presidential ticket for the GOP in some shape or form.
Andrew Stein, the founder of Democrats for Trump, has even suggested that Trump drop Pence in favor of Haley to curry more favor with women voters.
Indeed, Haley is one of the most popular conservative figures at the moment. BLP reported on how the former Governor of South Carolina has been positioning herself for higher office by launching her own non-profit that will likely help her build a war chest for a presidential run in the next few years.
All things being equal, she appears to be a frontrunner for the 2024 presidential elections.
Due to her position on the Board of Boeing, one of the fixtures of the military industrial complex, a Haley presidency would likely revert back to the neocon missionary foreign policy of the last few decades.
America First advocates will have to keep an eye out on Haley and the moves she makes in the next few years.
