New Study Shows Blue Cities Have Highest Homicide Rates

According to a recent study by WalletHub entitled “Cities with the Biggest Homicide Rate Problems”, people living in Democratic-controlled cities have a greater chance of falling victim to homicidal criminals.
In the last few years, the United States’ homicide rate has witnessed a significant increase. The WalletHub study reviewed 45 of the largest US cities based on per capita homicides in Q4 2022, in addition to per capita homicides in Q4 2022 compared to Q4 2021 and Q4 2020.
The top five cities for homicides were Atlanta, Baltimore, Detroit, Las Vegas and Kansas City, Missouri. By contrast, Scottsdale, Arizona; Anchorage, Alaska; Dallas; Fort Worth, Texas; and St. Petersburg had the lowest homicide rate numbers in this list.
The top 10 highest homicide rate cities tend to be overwhelmingly Democratic-controlled, with Jacksonville, Florida being the sole Republican exception at 9th place. The only other Republican-controlled cities to be featured on the list are Oklahoma City (27th) and Fort Worth (43rd).
Similarly, 19 cities on the list are in red states, whereas 26 cities are located in blue states. In this ranking system, a lower number signified a higher chance of homicide. For example, WalletHub gave blue cities an average rank of 22.29 and red states a 25.78 average rank.
Indeed, political leadership matters when it comes to issues dealing with crime. Democrats tend to be more pro-criminals with their policies that undermine law enforcement and give criminals a slap on the wrist for their misdeeds. It also doesn’t help that Democratic-run cities tend to be in anti-gun states that prevent lawful citizens from defending themselves against criminals.
More fundamentally, major cities tend to be more diverse, aka non-white, and feature many ethnic groups that are more prone to commit crimes. Add illegal immigration into the mix, and you have lawless jungles beginning to pop up in cities nationwide. A serious political class that’s ready to throw down against criminals is needed to fix these problems. The only language these degenerates understand is force, so the conservative proclivity of turning to ideas or persuasion isn’t going to fly here.
