NOT GUILTY: Texas Pro-MAGA Attorney General Ken Paxton is Acquitted on Impeachment Charges

Texas attorney general Ken Paxton has been acquitted by the Texas senate in his impeachment hearing as the attempt by Texas RINOs and their liberal partners failed spectacularly.

America First grassroots patriots throughout the state of Texas are celebrating the news.

“Today, after a trial in which the House could muster no evidence of a crime, the Texas senate overwhelmingly voted to acquit Attorney General Ken Paxton of all counts,” said Texas GOP Chairman Matt Rinaldi.

“Speaker Dade Phelan and his leadership team should be embarrassed for putting Texas through the time and expense of this political sham of an impeachment,” he added.

Paxton was impeached by the Texas state house under vague allegations of corruption that could not be substantiated. Paxton had defeated George P. Bush, the latest heir to the Bush political dynasty, in a primary race for Attorney General last year. He also led the historic lawsuit to stop election fraud that was sadly rejected by the Supreme Court in the wake of the fraudulent 2020 presidential election.

President Donald Trump made his feelings about Paxton’s attempted railroading known in a Truth Social post.

“Texas Attorney General Paxton was easily re-elected last November, but now establishment RINOS are trying to undo that Election with a shameful impeachment of him,” Trump stated. “Who would replace Paxton, one of the TOUGHEST & BEST Attorney Generals in the Country? Could it be a Democrat, or even worse, a RINO?”

“In the middle of February, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against the regime of President Joe Biden over a gargantuan $1.7 trillion spending bill. 

Emily Wilkerson of Texas Scorecard noted that the US Constitution mandates a quorum of members of the United States House of Representatives be in attendance for the chamber of Congress to carry out its everyday operations. That said, only 201 members of the House were present in the House’s chamber when the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 was voted on in December 2022.

The Consolidated Appropriations Act allocated $20 million to a pilot program for the Department of Homeland Security’s “Alternatives to Detention Program,” which would let illegal aliens loose who would otherwise be detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers.

Per the lawsuit, the program has put Texas taxpayers on the hook for millions of dollars annually to provide healthcare to illegal aliens. Paxton cited how Texas spent $80 million in emergency Medicaid funding in 2019. 

Furthermore, the lawsuit called attention to the $176 million Texas taxpayers were compelled to pay in order to provide education to illegal aliens in government schools during the 2020-21 school year.”

Paxton is a major threat to succeed RINO Texas Governor Greg Abbott after he leaves office. This is why the establishment in Texas wants to destroy him. Their failure to oust Paxton undemocratically from office will only make him stronger.
