Obama Warned Elite Democrat: “Don’t Underestimate Joe’s Ability to F*** Things Up”

A new report from Politico suggests that former President Barack Obama has been less than thrilled about Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, at times speaking negatively of his own Vice President and questioning Biden’s capacity to campaign and govern during the Democratic Primary.

The article sources several anonymous Democratic Party figures who recount incidences in which the former President spoke poorly of Biden.

Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f–k things up,” one Democratic insider claims to have heard from Obama.

The 44th President also spoke of what he saw as Biden’s diminishing appeal to the Democratic electorate, while mentioning his own declining brand with Democratic primary voters. “And you know who really doesn’t have it? Joe Biden,” he said of synergy with Democratic voters.

President Obama was also outright cold to the notion of Joe Biden running for President in 2016, working behind the scenes to secure a coronation for Hillary Clinton. The President’s political confidantes had greatly favored the idea of electing a first female president over another “white Irish Catholic guy.”

The report also indicates that some Biden operatives were offended by Obama’s endorsement of Joe Biden, considering it to be far less enthusiastic than his endorsement of Clinton. Obama had called Hillary Clinton the most qualified person ever to run for the presidency, glowing language he declined to use in his endorsement of Biden.

If Biden wins the election, it’s probably only a short matter of time until the Democratic Party decides he’s not politically useful anyone and begins the initiative to substitute Kamala Harris in as the new President.
