Oberlin College Ordered to Pay $36 Million After Defaming Local Bakery as Racist Over Hate Hoax

Ohio-based Oberlin College has been ordered to pay $36 million in damages after school administrators participated in a defamation campaign against Gibson’s Bakery over a hate hoax that occurred at their storefront.

Back in Nov. 2016, three black students were caught shoplifting and then cried about racial profiling in a pathetic attempt to weasel out of taking responsibility for their own actions. They eventually pleaded guilty of the crime but not before Gibson’s became a target of the left-wing mob.

“On August 30, the Ohio Supreme Court issued its decision not to hear Oberlin’s appeal. Oberlin’s Board of Trustees has decided not to pursue the matter further,” the University announced.

“We are disappointed by the Court’s decision. However, this does not diminish our respect for the law and the integrity of our legal system,” they added. This matter has been painful for everyone. We hope that the end of the litigation will begin the healing of our entire community.”

Big League Politics reported on this case that exemplifies the cruelty and the stupidity of the soulless mobs that have been empowered by groups such as Black Lives Matter:

A jury in Lorain County awarded damages to Gibson’s Bakery, which has been in operation since 1885, after they were protested and called racist by a social justice mob after black students were caught shoplifting at the location a day after President Donald Trump was elected President in 2016.
