Omicron Is ‘Mild’ Says Top South African Doctor, Who Does Not Understand The ‘Hype’
South African Medical Association chairwoman Angelique Coetzee, who is credited with being among the first to identify the new Coronavirus variant dubbed “Omicron,” said that she does not understand the “hype” surrounding the new variant, which was reportedly discovered in South Africa. Coetzee said that Omicron symptoms are “mild” and “There are no prominent symptoms.” Coetzee’s comments could undercut any attempts by globalist politicians to use Omicron to push new authoritarian lockdowns or tyrannical medical mandates.
“Their symptoms were so different and so mild from those I had treated before,” Coetzee stated about Omicron.
“It presents mild disease with symptoms being sore muscles and tiredness for a day or two not feeling well. So far, we have detected that those infected do not suffer loss of taste or smell. They might have a slight cough. There are no prominent symptoms. Of those infected some are currently being treated at home,” Coetzee said, which could jeopardize globalist plans to exploit Omicron for more government mandates.
“We will only know this after two weeks. Yes, it is transmissible, but for now, as medical practitioners, we do not know why so much hype is being driven as we are still looking into it. We will only know after two to three weeks as there are some patients admitted and these are young people aged 40 and younger,” Coetzee said.
Despite the “mild” symptoms described by Coetzee, some globalists are already pushing alarmist hype. Hopefully independent media will keep Coetzee’s comments in the conversation and not allow her analysis to get drowned out by politicized propaganda.
