In this interview, Maloney argued that the “the Republican establishment, both at the national level and the state level” are failing to continue “to take action.”
He added that “They [establishment Republicans] don’t want to get into the mud to do the work that’s needed… Nobody wants to do this work…But that’s what it’s going to take. Democrats understand this.”
Maloney, the CEO of Mobilize the Message, emphasized how the razor tight margins of elections in battleground states such as Pennsylvania require a robust ballot chasing program. He noted the following about the mail-in-ballot situation in the Keystone State:
“For Republicans, where we’re starting down 80 to 20 going into election day. So in the state of Pennsylvania, you have 50 days when it comes to mail-in ballots. The Democrats spend 50 days getting people to vote, where we as Republicans spend one day, election day, we’ve been encouraging folks, only vote in person. So that’s why we’ve launched the Pennsylvania Chase. We’ve got to get that number of Republicans up from 20% just the 33.”
Maloney explained how chasing ballots could make Pennsylvania competitive for liberty-minded Republicans:
Think about that. Instead of one out of every five ballots, just one out of every three…If you do the work and you get that number from 20 to 33, which we’re gonna do in Pennsylvania, it makes Pennsylvania competitive again for people who truly believe in liberty.
The liberty conservative political operative stressed that “We can’t sit back and wait for the party [GOP]” to take action on the issue. For that reason, he launched the Pennsylvania Chase. He vowed to “match the Democrats at every tactic legally, every tactic that they use.”
This consists of pursuing legal avenues to “chase the ballots” while also harvesting ballots wherever it’s legal.
The Pennsylvania Chase project is no joke. It’s a serious effort to ensure that Republicans can finally take their state from the cultural Left.
