PATHETIC: Major League Baseball Attacks the 2nd Amendment After Mass Shootings

Major League Baseball (MLB) is going woke and attacking the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution after recent mass shootings in Buffalo, NY and Uvalde, Tex.

Two American League teams, the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays, are leading the way in posting gun control advocacy messages after the recent shootings.

“In lieu of game coverage and in collaboration with [the New York Yankees], we will use our channels to offer facts about the impacts of gun violence. The devastating events that took place in Uvalde, Buffalo and countless other communities across our nation are tragedies that are intolerable,” the Rays’ social media account stated.

The Rays also pledged $50,000 to the Everytown for Gun Safety’s Support Fund and urged fans to donate as well. Everytown is a front set up by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a progressive billionaire.

The Yankees even posted a message featuring the reviled term “Latinx” in a Twitter post to show how ultra-woke they are:

Big League Politics has reported on MLB’s woke descent over the years, which included a shameful boycott of the state of Georgia after they passed laws strengthening election integrity in the state:

Major League Baseball announced it would turn its back on Georgia in a press release issued Friday, ripping away the 2021 All-Star Game from Turner Field in Atlanta. The sports league is citing a gripe with election integrity legislation signed into law last month.

While the law merely standardizes Georgia’s election procedures in a manner that models them on other US states, critics of integrity measures in US elections have claimed they represent an attack on the right to vote.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred made the call to steal away the All-Star game. In addition to relocating the game, the 2021 MLB Draft will be moved, as well…

Baseball had briefly hesitated to sign off on the corporate leftist agenda wholly embraced by the NBA, NFL and other multinational ‘American’ corporations, but the attack on Georgia’s independence represents no less than the submission of the sport to a coastal cultural liberal agenda.

The MLB follows Delta Airlines and Coca-Cola in using a corporate platform to attack the state of Georgia. The baseball league is the first to move an element of its business away from the state in a political pressure move, with left-wing activists now dependent on using corporate power to subvert Georgia’s legislative process.”

The MLB is dying because the league is betraying the will of its fanbase. Baseball has gone from the American pastime to an afterthought, and deservedly so.
