Pence Casts Tie-Breaker on Senate Procedural Vote, One Step Closer To Wall Funding
Vice President Mike Pence has cast the tie breaking vote on the motion to proceed on the House passed funding bill that includes over $5 billion for President Trump’s border wall.
This means that the Senate is one step closer to funding the government and building the wall.

The vote closed at 47-47, changing to 48-47 with Pence’s vote.
