PHOTO: Jussie Smollett Spotted at Trump Tower Black Lives Matter Protest

Actor and alleged hate crime hoaxster Jussie Smollett was spotted at a Black Lives Matter protest event outside of Trump Tower in New York City on Saturday, as reported upon by the Daily Mail.

Smollett appeared at the protest, in which demonstrators met at a large “Black Lives Matter” slogan plastered on the road in front of the President’s property. He wore an orange face mask and chanted mantras directed at President Donald Trump.

Smollett is currently facing six counts of disorderly conduct on account of his alleged false police reports in which he claimed to have been beaten by a pair of white Donald Trump supporters in the middle of the December night in Chicago, who identified and assaulted the Empire actor in an attack that involved wrapping a noose around Smollett’s neck.

It was later revealed that two Nigerian brothers who were associates of Smollett executed the attack, and the Osundairo brothers now maintain that Smollett had paid them to execute the hoax in pursuit of publicity.

Smollett is also currently litigating a $130,000 civil lawsuit with the City of Chicago, with the latter insisting that Smollett owes the Chicago Police Department the funds to recoup what was spent investigating Smollett’s fraudulent police reports.

It may not have been the best legal strategy for Smollett to appear at the politically charged protest, considering the political nature of the hoax crime he’s being prosecuted for.

No reports of mobs of ‘MAGA hat’ hooligans tracking down and beating left-wing celebrities in the middle of the night have surfaced from the area since Smollett’s appearance at the protest event.
