Pocahontas Admits: ‘I Am Not a Person of Color’

Sen. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren (D-Mass.) was forced to admit at a rally in Sioux City, Iowa that she is indeed not a Native America, as she has claimed throughout her entire political career.

“I’m not a person of color. I’m not a citizen of a tribe. Tribal citizenship is very different from ancestry. Tribes and only tribes determine tribal citizenship and I respect that difference,” she said when asked about a DNA test she took last year.

Warren was stumping for a potential 2020 presidential campaign. She announced the formation of an exploratory committee last Saturday.

President Donald J. Trump took the “Pocahontas” nickname mainstream, driving Warren bonkers. To prove him wrong, she took a DNA test. The test showed that she was anywhere between 1/32nd and 1/1024th native Columbian, Peruvian or Mexican. It did not test against Native American DNA. Foolishly, Warren thought that her stunt proved her point, and she made the results public. Even though the left wing press covered for her, she could not hide the fact that she is not Native enough to even be considered for membership into a tribe. Instead, she became a laughingstock – a victim of Trump’s masterful trolling of the political left.

In short, Warren lied for political gain. Minority status equals victimhood on the political left, after all, and victimhood leads to an odd form of social currency that somehow makes ones viewpoints more valuable than others based solely on the immutable characteristic of skin color. It’s a stupid system.

Oddly, the left has been silent about Warren claiming Native status to further her interests. Her actions meet the definition for the “cultural appropriation” that we hear so much about. But Warren did not do something as serious as wear a Sombrero to a Halloween party, so apparently she is safe from such criticism. Instead, she pretended to be Native to gain political power. Shouldn’t she – by the rules of the left – be crucified upside down for her mortal sin?

Apparently not. After all, she is not a Republican.
