POLL: Majority of Americans Don’t Want Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

According to a poll that The Trafalgar Group conducted in conjunction with Convention of States Action, the majority of Americans are against granting amnesty to illegal alien invaders or migrant invaders going through the “asylum review” process. Only 14% of Americans said that illegal aliens should receive amnesty and citizenship.
59.5% of Americans are of the view that “those in review should complete their reviews and either be removed or granted asylum, and those here illegally should be expelled.” By contrast, 15% said that “only those in asylum review should be granted amnesty and citizenship,” whereas 14.3% said that “both those in asylum review and those who entered illegally should be granted amnesty and citizenship.”
Only 2.8% of Hispanic voters believe that illegal aliens should be granted amnesty and citizenship. A slim plurality of Democrats said that both groups should receive asylum or citizenship — 36% of Democrats have indicated such views.
30.6% of Democrats said that both groups receive asylum and citizenship. 13.1% of Democrats said that only migrants in asylum review should receive amnesty and citizenship.
Democrats had 20.3% of “not sure” responses — the highest proportion of all political parties studied.
The overwhelming majority of Republican voters said that both groups should not be granted asylum and citizenship, at 71%. 14.7% said only migrants in asylum review should receive amnesty and citizenship, whereas only 6.1% indicated that both groups should receive amnesty and citizenship.
61.9% of independent voters said that both groups should not receive amnesty and citizenship. By contrast, 16.4% indicated that only migrants in asylum review should receive amnesty and citizenship, and 12.9% said that migrants in asylum review and illegal aliens should receive amnesty and citizenship.
“While Democrats continue to pander to Hispanics and pretend they want open borders and mass illegal immigration, the data overwhelmingly shows that they, as American citizens, want illegal immigrants expelled from the country. And while it is the Biden Administration’s responsibility to secure the border and expel those trying to enter illegally–and it has utterly failed to do so for two years–the new Congress has the ability to exercise vigorous oversight and put heat on the White House. Clearly, such oversight has the strong backing of voters,” stated Mark Meckler, President of Convention of States.
“But our numbers also point out that voters desire immediate action from their state and local officials, and will not tolerate ‘blame Washington’ rhetoric without substantive local action. The fact that Washington is failing does not absolve Governors, especially border state Governors, from immediately taking active steps to protect citizens within their jurisdictions,” he continued.
Americans are clearly ticked off with mass migration. However, the political class is on a different wavelength. They believe in cheap labor and cheap votes, which constant waves of alien invaders provide.
A nationalist uprising is needed to overturn this corrupt political order and install a political class that will protect America’s demographic core from the scourge of mass migration. America First is the only way out of this conundrum.
