POLL: Majority of Americans Don’t Want Trump vs. Biden Round 2
A majority of Americans indicated that they don’t want Joe Biden or Donald Trump to run for the presidency in 2024, a new NBC News poll discovered.
This poll found that 60% of Americans believe former president Trump should not run for president again, which includes roughly a third of Republicans. 30% of individuals against his 2024 presidential run alluded to the criminal charges he is facing in New York as “a major reason” for opposing his re-election campaign.
Similarly, the survey revealed that 70% of Americans believe that President Biden should not run for a second term either, which includes 51% of Democrats.
Nearly half of those polled who were against Biden running again cited his age as a significant factor for their opposition.
According to a Yahoo New/YouGov poll, 38% of Americans have feelings of “exhaustion” at the prospect of a Biden-Trump rematch.
Per an NBC News poll, Trump is still favored to come out on top among his Republican primary rivals, with a 15% advantage over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, his primary Republican rival.
The US political system has grown corrupt to the core. It promotes a corrupt uniparty dynamic that works against the interests of Middle America. The election of Donald Trump in 2016 gave Americans a glimmer of hope in showing how an upstart political actor could shake things up in DC.
However, his presidency was derailed from within due to institutional inertia and questionable staffing calls. Ultimately, it’s up to America First nationalists to completely change American politics and purge the political system of neoconservatives and neoliberals in both political parties.
