POLL: Majority of Voters Believe the FBI is Covering Up Biden Regime Corruption

As House Republicans threaten contempt of Congress charges against Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray, a majority of voters suspect FBI officials tried to cover up a scandal involving President Joe Biden and his family.

According to a Rasmussen poll, 60% of likely United States voters believe that it is likely that leading officials at the FBI have assisted in covering up wrongdoing by President Joe Biden or his family members, which includes 48% who believe it’s very likely.  33% don’t believe that the FBI is likely engaging in a cover-up, which includes 16% who believe it is not at all likely.

44% of voters view the FBI favorably.  49% currently hold an unfavorable view of the FBI.

72% of Democratic voters, 23% of Republican voters, and 36% of independent voters hold at least a somewhat favorable view of the FBI. 50% of Republican voters currently have a very unfavorable opinion of the FBI, on top of 12% of Democrat voters and 37% of independent voters.

48% of white voters, 37% of black voters, and 40% of non-black minority voters have at least a somewhat favorable opinion of the FBI. 52% of white voters, 30% of black voters, and 45% of non-black minority voters stated it’s very likely leading FBI officials were covering up major scandals connected to the Biden family .

As far as income categories were concerned, 66% of voters making over $200,000 annually have a favorable view of the FBI, compared to just 37% of individuals making between $50,000 and $100,000. Individuals in the highest income bracket are nearly four times more likely than those making under $100,000 to believe that Wray had been a better FBI director than the majority of his predecessors.

People have every reason to view the FBI as a politicized entity. It’s an unaccountable government agency that acts with virtual impunity to destroy the rights of lawful Americans. For that reason, among others, it must be defunded and ultimately abolished
