POLL: Most Voters Believe Joe Biden is Too Old to Run for Re-Election
A majority of voters believe President Joe Biden is too old to run for re-election in 2024, according to a recent Rasmussen poll.
54% of likely United States voters believe Biden is too old to be president. Whereas 37% are in disagreement with this view.
Biden, who recently turned 81, is the oldest president in American history and would be 86 once he ends his second term. 36% of Democratic voters believe Biden is too old to be commander-in-chief. By contrast, 77% of Republican voters and 52% of independent voters hold the same view.
49% of voters believe it’s likely that the Democratic Party will replace Joe Biden with another candidate in the 2024 presidential cycle, which includes 245 who believe it is very likely. On the other hand, 40% of voters don’t believe Democrats are likely to replace Biden for 2024, which includes 13% who indicated that it’s not at all likely. An additional 11% are unsure.
45% of Democrat voters believe it is at least somewhat likely that the party will replace Biden as the 2024 presidential candidate. 62% of Republican voters and 42% of independent voters held the same view.
When it comes to race, 53% of white voters, 51% of black voters, and 61% of non-black minorities believe Biden is too old to remain as president.
As for income earners, individuals making north of $200,000 annually are the most likely segment to indicate that Biden should run for re-election. By contrast, individuals making between $30,000 and $50,000 are most likely to believe Biden shouldn’t run for re-election in 2024.
Indeed, Joe Biden is both ideologically and physically incapable of assuming the position of the US presidency. His presence is an embodiment of the decaying political system in the US. Biden must be relieved of the burden of holding higher office if the US wants to continue to be prosperous.
