POLL: Nearly One-Third of Voters Are In Favor Of Reparations For Blacks

According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 31% of likely United States voters support taxpayer-backed reparations payments to the descendants of African American slaves, which includes 

15% who strongly Support reparations. 54% of voters are against this, which includes 41% of voters who strongly oppose reparations payments, whereas 14% are unsure. 

Only 22% of voters believe it is likely that Congress will vote for a program of reparation payments to the descendants of African American slaves. Only 6% who believe such a congressional vote is very likely. 62% believe Congress is unlikely to vote for a reparations program, which includes 29% who say it’s not at all likely. An additional 17% are unsure.

Several states, most prominently California, have considered implementing reparations programs at the state level. Only 11% of likely voters believe reparations should be implemented at the state level, whereas 26% believe reparations for slavery should be carried out at the national level, however 51% indicated that there should be no reparation payments at all. An additional 12% are unsure.

17% of Democrats voters, 9% of Republican voters, or  7% of independent voters believe reparations for slavery should be handled at the state level. Sixty-seven percent (67%) of Republicans, 60% of unaffiliated voters and 28% of Democrats believe there should be no reparation payments at all.

55% of Democrat voters at least somewhat back taxpayer-funded reparation payments to the descendants of African American slaves. By contrast only 18% of Republican voters and 20% of independent voters support reparations payments to blacks. 59% of Republican voters are strongly against reparations, in addition to  48% of independent voters and 18% of Democrat voters.

68% of Democrat voters, 53% of Republican voters, and 61% of independent voters believe it is unlikely that Congress will vote for a reparations program. 

As for race, 25% of white voters, 65% of black voters, and 31% of non-black minority voters at least somewhat back taxpayer-funded reparation payments to the descendants of African American slaves. By contrast, only 19% of white voters, 21% of black voters, and 29% of non-black minorities believe it at least somewhat likely that Congress would vote for such a program. 

When it comes to salary earners, individuals making $200,000 annually are most likely to approve of a taxpayer-funded reparations plan for slavery. 

Americans still have strong instincts when it comes to opposing black reparations programs, which is part of an anti-white interest group plan to dispossess whites. The American Right must not flinch here. It must re-assert the rights of white, European Americans and completely crush the anti-whites and patrons who fund them.
