President Donald Trump and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Rally the America First Right for RINO Kevin McCarthy

After the disastrous midterm elections, there has been a renewed clamor for the Republican Party to dump Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as a leadership figure in Congress.

However, he has two prominent supporters in the America First movement: President Donald Trump and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

Greene shilled hard for McCarthy during an appearance on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast on Monday morning.

“I actually think that’s a bad strategy when we’re looking at having a very razor-thin majority, with potentially 219 — we’re talking about one vote,” Greene said.

“It’s very, very risky right now to produce a leadership challenge, especially for Speaker of the House, when they are going to open the door and allow Liz Cheney, possibly, to become Speaker,” she continued, resorting to ridiculous fearmongering in order to promote McCarthy.

Former House Freedom Caucus chairman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) is expected to make a run for House Speaker, believing that actual conservative leadership is needed to guide the Republican Party out of the abyss.

“I’m going to be nominated tomorrow to the position of Speaker of the House,” Biggs said during an appearance on Newsmax. “We’ll see if we can get the job done and the votes. It’s going to be tough. Kevin has raised a lot of money and done a lot of things. But this is not just about Kevin. I think it’s about institutional direction and trajectory.”

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) believes that McCarthy lacks the sufficient votes to be made the next House Speaker.

“What I can tell you as I stand here right now is that Kevin McCarthy does not have 218 votes to become speaker,” he said. “I don’t think he has 200.”

Sources claim that Trump is working behind the scenes to twist arms on behalf of McCarthy. He is publicly talking in favor of the embattled lawmaker despite the dismal showing in last week’s election.

Big League Politics reported on how McCarthy plotted to stab President Trump in the back like a coward after Jan. 6:

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has been exposed further for undermining President Donald Trump after the Jan. 6 protest in the U.S. Capitol.

McCarthy talked with House Republican leaders on the best ways he could stab President Trump in the back. One of his schemes involved colluding with Joe Biden himself. McCarthy shared some exchanges with House GOP floor director John Leganski that show what Republican leaders really think of Trump when they are not lying to their constituents in front of the cameras.
