President Donald Trump personally introduced National Border Patrol Council leaders including Brandon Judd at the scheduled White House press briefing Thursday.

Sarah Sanders kicked off the press conference as she typically does, and quickly introduced President Trump as the men of the Border Patrol Council stood by.

The event’s surprise nature underscored the severity of the border crisis in this, our thirteenth day of government shutdown, and painted a tasteful, somber, and resilient image of the Trump administration’s efforts in the face of mainstream media attacks.
