Progressive Conspiracy Theorist Joy Reid Facing Termination From MSNBC

MSNBC is reportedly preparing to terminate progressive conspiracy theorist Joy Reid, with the neoliberal network planning to show her the door in a round of program reshuffling scheduled for the spring.
Reporter Jon Nicosia broke news of Reid’s firing on Thursday. The network has reportedly finalized its decision, and is only deliberating the politics of how to fire Reid. MSNBC managers view the troubled cable host as “unmanageable,” and have caught her in lies claiming that her personal website was hacked by Russian trolls years ago.
Reid built up a reputation of lobbing egregious and over-the-top allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, claiming that a series of social media posts served as a de facto “hack” of the 2016 election. Reid had compared President Trump to Kim Jong Un for planning a military parade in Washington DC.
Cable ratings for establishment media channels have plummeted in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s presidency, with MSNBC and CNN stripped of the ability to fearmonger and obsess over Trump.
One of the most alarming signs for CNN in the post-Trump era was when all their prime-time shows dropped below 1m viewers.

Reid most recently spread a progressive lie that Oklahoma hospitals were being overwhelmed by people suffering complications from using ivermectin to treat coronavirus. The sheriff of the rural Oklahoma community she referenced clarified that the report was nothing but a lie, with no one hospitalized for ivermectin complications.
