PROPAGANDA FAIL: Only 26 Percent of Americans Want Intervention into Russia/Ukraine Conflict

A new poll conducted by the Associated Press (AP) and the NORC Center for Public Affairs Research shows that only 26 percent of Americans want the U.S. to perform a major intervention into the Russia/Ukraine conflict.

While very few Americans want U.S. involvement in another war, they do buy into the war propaganda at least somewhat.

“About 4 in 10 Americans approve of the way President Joe Biden is handling foreign policy and the United States’ relationship with Russia.  Fifty-three percent are concerned that Russia’s influence around the world poses a threat to the United States,” the report from AP and NORC stated.

However, the military-industrial complex is being treated with much greater skepticism by the American public than they have in previous years.

“Only about a quarter have a great deal of confidence in the U.S. government’s intelligence agencies. More than 4 in 10 have a great deal of confidence in the military, although confidence is declining,” the report from AP and NORC said.

Big League Politics has reported on the relentless propaganda drive by the Biden regime and the compliant media to gin up support for a war effort in Ukraine:

U.S. secretary of state Antony Blinken has pledged “unwavering” support for the Ukrainian government in their ongoing conflict against Russia.

State Department spokesman Ned Price released a statement explaining the diplomatic situation. The U.S. is once again interjecting itself into a foreign entanglement that is none of their business.

“Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke by phone with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba today. The Secretary affirmed the United States’ unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression in the Donbas and Crimea. He expressed concern about the security situation in eastern Ukraine and offered condolences on the recent loss of four Ukrainian soldiers,” Price said.

“Secretary Blinken highlighted the importance of advancing rule of law and economic reforms to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic institutions and further its Euro-Atlantic integration. The Secretary and Foreign Minister also discussed efforts to counter the COVID-19 pandemic and to advance our shared interests in combatting the effects of climate change,” he added.

The Biden regime is exploiting inflamed tensions between Russia and Ukraine in order to punish the Russians over the imaginary collusion scandal that they could not use to impeach former president Donald Trump.

Americans are not buying into the war propaganda like they used to. This is bad news for the defense contractors who run U.S. foreign policy for their own profits.
