Rashida Tlaib Plays Race Card to Defend ‘Sister’ Ilhan Omar for Trivializing 9/11 Attacks

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is in hot water yet again after making controversial comments to a gathering of far-left Muslims where she trivialized the Sept. 11, 2001 Islamic terror attacks against the US.

“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to civil liberties,” Omar said during a meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood-linked 501c3 group.

Republicans quickly picked up on Omar’s callous remarks to undermine the role of Islam in committing the the Sept. 11 atrocities and piled on the Somali migrant lawmaker.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a fellow Muslim and Omar’s “sister” in terror apologism, used the conservative outrage to predictably cry about racism and play the victim.

“They do this all the time to us, especially women of color,” Tlaib said during an appearance on MSNBC beginning the familiar whining screed.

“They take our words out-of context because they’re afraid,” Tlaib claimed, despite the fact that Omar’s words have been presented in their full context. “They’re afraid because we speak truth. We speak truth to power.”

From there, Tlaib started spinning on behalf of her socialist Islamic colleague using Omar’s past as a third-world invader to invoke sympathy for her.

“What she was talking about was uplifting people by supporting their civil liberties and civil rights. She has always, always condemned any kind of strategy, especially of a person that is directly impacted by being a refugee herself,” Tlaib said.

Tlaib continued to stammer on behalf of Omar but failed to reach coherency while spewing her brand of verbal diarrhea.

“She sees what terrorism can do. She sees what violence can do to a whole country, to a whole people. Taking it out of context, this is just pure racist act by many of those, hateful acts by those because she does speak truth when it talks about issues that they don’t disagree with,” Tlaib said in broken English, not quite making sense of her jumbled thoughts.

Just the fact that Omar appeared at a CAIR gathering should set off many alarm bells in the minds of Americans, as the organization is well-known to share many ties to Islamic terror groups.

“Ilhan Omar covertly represents Hamas in the US Congress. We need to act now before this blows up in our faces,” said Laurie Cardoza-Moore, founder of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations (PJTTN), in a public statement.

PJTTN is a Zionist advocacy group that promotes a strong state of Israel and warns against threats to US and Israeli freedom. Omar has shot to the top of their list of threats.

“CAIR and Hamas are one in the same,” Cardoza-Moore said. “Ilhan Omar openly fund-raising for CAIR means she is not just a rabid antisemite, but a real threat to our national security.”

The Jerusalem Post reported that FBI investigators discovered CAIR, which was actually founded in 1994 not after Sept. 2001 like Omar falsely claimed, to be an integral part of the “Palestine Committee,” a terror organization set up by the Muslim Brotherhood to facilitate support for Hamas in the United States.

US District Court Judge Jorge Solis found that there is “at least a prima facie case as to CAIR’s involvement in a conspiracy to support Hamas” while issuing a ruling in 2009. The United Arab Emirates has considered CAIR a terror group since 2014 alongside ISIS, al Queda, and others.

CAIR stands firmly behind Rep. Omar despite (or perhaps because of) her history of antisemitic statements.

“CAIR supports Representative Omar and her efforts to highlight the lobbying efforts of [AIPAC]. CAIR does not feel there was any antisemitic meaning in her tweet, but due to the brevity some took it as such,” said Robert McCaw, director of government affairs for CAIR, in defense of Omar.

PJTTN has set up a petition calling for the ouster of Omar and is demanding for a Congressional investigation of CAIR for being an enemy lurking within.

“We the people demand that members of a subversive antisemitic organization, with close ties to terrorist groups, not be made welcome in our Congress,” Cardoza-Moore continued.

Congress remains more focused on witch hunting against white nationalism instead of keeping America safe. Omar and her sister in terror Tlaib will continue agitating against the US Constitution with no resistance from the Washington DC swamp.
