Released Documents Show West Point Cadets are Being Taught Critical Race Theory

Judicial Watch has obtained documents that show West Point cadets are being taught critical race theory as “woke” Marxist doctrine subverts American national security priorities.
“Our military is under attack – from within,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton stated in a press release about the document release.
“These documents show racist, anti-American CRT propaganda is being used to try to radicalize our rising generation of Army leadership at West Point,” he added.
One of the slides shown to cadets indoctrinates them against “whiteness,” claiming that “in order to understand racial inequality and slavery, it is first necessary to address whiteness” and the “take-for-grantedness of whiteness.”
The slide goes on to claim whiteness “is a location of structural advantage, of race privilege,” is “a standpoint or place from which white people look at themselves and the rest of society” and “refers to a set of cultural practices that are usually unmarked and unnamed.”
An indoctrination slide explicitly under Critical Race Theory states that “racism is ordinary” and “white Americans have primarily benefited from civil rights legislation.”
Another slide titled “Educating Future Officers for the Modern Battlefield” concludes: “Regardless of personal views, future leaders need to understand arguments on controversial issues and need to be prepared to thoughtfully answer questions when Soldiers ask about topics in the news, such as Critical Race Theory (CRT).”

“In another piece of evidence that the military has been captured and turned against the country it should be defending, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley defended critical race theory during testimony in Congress on Wednesday.
“On the issue of critical race theory, etc., I’ll obviously have to get much smarter on whatever the theory is, but I do think it’s important,” he said.
“The United States Military Academy is a university, and it is important that we train and understand, and I want to understand white rage, and I’m white, and I understand it,” Milley added.
This is when Milley exposed himself as little more than a partisan political operative who hides behind his uniform and his medals in order to subvert U.S. national security goals.
“So what is it that caused thousands of people to assault this building and try to overturn the Constitution of the United States of America. What caused that? I want to find that out,” he said.
“So what is wrong with understanding, having some situational understanding about the country for which we are here to defend. And I personally find it offensive that we are accusing the United States Military…of being “woke” or something else because we are studying some theories that are out there,” Milley added before spouting off some nonsense about the founding fathers being racist.”
The military has been subverted, and military leaders care more about hoisting pro-BLM or pro-transgender flags than winning wars or protecting legitimate national security interests.
