Rep. Liz Cheney Uses Jan. 6 Committee to Persecute Political Opponents Working to Unseat Her in Wyoming

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is abusing her authority as a member of the Jan. 6 committee to persecute her political opponents working to unseat her in Wyoming.

The illegal and overreaching Jan. 6 commission announced on Tuesday that they would be subpoenaing Andrew Surabian, an aide for Donald Trump Jr. who has written speeches for President Donald Trump.

“Protestors became rioters who carried out a violent attempt to derail the peaceful transfer of power. We have reason to believe the individuals we’ve subpoenaed today have relevant information,” committee chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS) said in a statement.

Surabian is currently an advisor for the Wyoming Values Political Action Committee (PAC), which is working to rally support on behalf of Harriet Hageman, the most prominent Cheney opponent working to remove her from office. In addition, Surabian had no role in organizing any of the rallies that occurred on Jan. 6. His targeting by the commission appears to be completely motivated to bolster Cheney’s ambitions to stay in office.

“During the time period that the rally was being organized, Mr. Surabian was overseeing a Super PAC in support of Republican Senate candidates in Georgia,” Surabian’s lawyer Daniel Bean said in a statement.

“Mr. Surabian is a close friend to Donald Trump Jr. and is running a Super PAC that opposes the reelection of one of the members of the committee. Accordingly, we believe this is nothing more than harassment of the Committee’s political opponents and is un-American to the core,” Bean added.

Big League Politics has reported on the traitorous actions of Cheney who is working with Democrats to ensure Trump can never run for president again:

During an interview with ABC News on January 2, 2021, Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney declared that Donald Trump should never be permitted to run for the presidency again. She cited Trump’s alleged failure to to stop the January 6th storming of the Capitol.

“The Briefing Room at the White House is just a mere few steps from the Oval Office,” declared Cheney. “The president could have at any moment walked those very few steps into the Briefing Room, gone on live television, and told his supporters who were assaulting the Capitol to stop, and he failed to do so.”

Cheney then proceeded to accuse Trump of inciting the raid, despite the multiple examples of footage showing the rioters being invited to enter the building.

The Congresswoman asserted that Trump was “clearly unfit for future office” and “can never be anywhere near the Oval Office ever again.”

As Paul Joseph Watson of Summit News pointed out, Cheney ended her interview “by echoing Hillary Clinton’s alarmist warning that democracy would be dead in America if Americans chose to return Trump to office via a democratic vote.”

With the 1st anniversary of January 6th coming on Thursday, Democrats will be doing everything possible to market it as one of the most devastating events in American history.

Although Cheney voted alongside Donald Trump 92.9% of the time throughout his presidency, Cheney betrayed him when it mattered most — in the aftermath of January 6. At that moment, she showed her true colors as a swamp creature.

For her treachery, Cheney must be relieved of the burden of holding higher office during the 2022 Republican primaries.”

Neocons like Cheney should be given no quarter in the America First GOP. She ought to be behind bars next to her war criminal daddy for crimes against the Constitution.
