Rep. Steve King Gets Last Laugh, Wins Reelection In Iowa Despite Haters and Losers

A pro-Trump Congressman who is known for being hawkish on border security, for which he is berated as a “racist” by the totally non-partisan media, won reelection in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District Tuesday.

King held off Democrat challenger J.D. Scholten by 3.4 percentage points.

King barred The Des Moines Register from covering his election night gathering due to their rabid partisanship.

“We are not granting credentials to the Des Moines Register or any other leftist propaganda media outlet with no concern for reporting the truth,” said Jeff King, a campaign staffer, in response to the Register’s request for media credentials.

After his win, the paper ran a piece titled “Iowa’s national embarrassment continues, for now, as Steve King wins,” according to the Washington Post, proving him correct on his assessment of their journalistic integrity. It appears that the paper quietly changed the headline to “Rep. Steve King’s re-election shows sowing divisions still pays. But it won’t always.”

As it turns out, a the message of border security and and a strong economy played well in Iowa, much to the chagrin of lawless Democrats.

King recently blasted the press and the Never Trump crowd for labeling him as a racist.

“Americans, all created by God, with all our races, ethnicities, and national origins-legal immigrants & natural born citizens, together make up the Shining City on the Hill,” he Tweeted. “The attacks are orchestrated by nasty, desperate, and dishonest fake news. Their ultimate goal is to flip the House and impeach Donald Trump. Establishment Never Trumpers are complicit.”
