Once again, the trojan horse inside the Trump administration, President Donald J. Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner, is pressuring the President to defy the will of the American people on the issue of immigration.
“A new immigration idea has been circulating over the past 24 hours at senior levels inside the White House and on Capitol Hill: Give a path to green cards to the 700,000 current DACA recipients, three sources familiar with the conversations tell Axios,” said a Wednesday morning Axios report.
“Republican senators, including James Lankford of Oklahoma, have advocated for this idea. And Jared Kushner has relayed the idea to his colleagues in the White House as a possible way to break the congressional deadlock,” the report continued.
The American people were very clear during the 2016 Trump campaign. They voted for a wall at the southern border, and for someone who promised to support the rule of law, not reward those who have broken our laws to come here illegally.
Aside from that, as President Ronald Reagan’s 1986 amnesty for illegals proved that amnesty for one class of illegals will be extended by the courts to amnesty for all illegals. As Ann Coulter noted on Twitter last weekend, the courts are still hearing amnesty petitions based on Reagan’s bill, more than 30 years after it was signed into law.
The likely result of giving amnesty to DACA recipients is that other illegals – potentially millions – will petition for citizenship under a new amnesty law. Meanwhile, there is still no wall on the southern border to prevent unfettered illegal migration.
How’s that for America First?
Kushner is part of the in-crowd on Wall Street, which Trump promised to defy when he rejected their campaign donations and self-funded in 2016. Big business Republicans like Kushner love illegal aliens. To them, illegal aliens represent cheap labor (American working class be damned!) and thus, higher profit margins.

Texas Representative Introducing Legislation for State to Finish “President Donald J. Trump Wall”
The wall can be completed at a state level.
A Texas legislator is pledging to complete sections of President Donald Trump’s border wall, proposing new legislation that would enable the state of Texas to resume construction of the wall system abandoned by Joe Biden.
Bryan Slaton of House District 2 is pledging to name the complete wall the “President Donald J. Trump Wall” in House Bill 2862.
We all know Biden has opened the flood gates at our border. That's why today, I have filed HB 2862 to finish President Trump's wall in Texas.
If the federal government won't do its job protecting American citizens, then Texas will stand in the gap and do it for them.#txlege

“President Trump fought to bring real border security and was opposed by Republicans and Democrats in Congress. While hundreds of miles of new wall were built under his leadership, the Biden administration has already ceased border wall construction,” Slaton said in a press statement announcing the legislation.
“It is time for Texas to stand up and finish the work that President Trump started. Let’s finish building the border wall now.”
It’s likely legal for state governments to take eminent domain measures to acquire land on the border and build a protective wall on it. Contractors already lined up to work with the federal government may even be willing to negotiate rates with Texas, having fully engaged in building more than 450 miles of wall during Donald Trump’s presidency. Slaton’s legislation would also formally request compensation for wall construction from the federal government. The bill is currently awaiting assignment to a committee in the Texas House of Representatives.
Customs and Border Patrol agents have pointed to the border wall system as a lifesaver on the southern border, enabling law enforcement to focus resources in more concentrated areas where illegal immigration and drug trafficking have been focused.
An Arizona Sheriff is pointing to the cessation of wall construction as an invitation of criminality. Likening the border regions of Cochise County to a “crime scene,” Mark Dannels is describing the abandoned construction sites as “roads for the cartels,” pointing to rates of illegal immigration and smuggling that have doubled since Joe Biden ascended to the presidential throne.
Arizona legislators may soon follow in funding border wall construction at a state level, leaving California and New Mexico as Democrat-leaning states unlikely to secure the nation’s borders with states funds.
