REPORT: Hunter Biden Threw “Raucous Party” at Rented L.A Mansion Weeks Ago, Relapsed on Sobriety

Weeks before Hunter Biden became a subject of national attention after the contents of his old laptop were revealed to the public, the younger Biden relapsed on his drug addiction and threw a “raucous” party in a rented Los Angeles mansion, according to new reporting from the Daily Mail.
Biden had rented a $2,300 Pacific Palisades mansion for the party, which reportedly took place shortly after the younger Biden stormed out of his own house following a feud with his wife, South African filmmaker Melissa Cohen. Cohen and Biden have a seven-month old child. Biden’s wife had been threatening to take the child to South Africa, and demanding that Biden receive treatment from a therapist, marital issues that caused Biden to go rogue for several days.
Sources indicated to the Daily Mail that Biden was seen relapsing on his substance abuse problem at the impromptu party. This would conflict with Joe Biden’s claims at the first presidential debate that his son was successfully handling his drug problem, as sources claim the rager took place only last month.
An attorney for Hunter Biden denied the veracity of the Daily Mail’s report when asked for comment.
It’s worth noting that this is a 50-year old man with several children, at least one of whom he’s been compelled to recognize and financially support through litigation from an Arkansas stripper. He’s a bit too old to be acting like a Los Angeles playboy.
Those struggling with drug problems deserve treatment and sympathy. That certainly does not entail placing them in positions of authority, or even trusting them. Electing Joe Biden would create a series gaping ethical fissures, especially considering the younger Biden has already proven willing to utilize his proximity to his father for corrupt political purposes.
