Report: Many MLB Teams ‘Promote Or Fund’ Groups Who Preform Child Sex Change Surgeries

Does America’s pastime biggest proponents have even a modicum of morality? A new analysis by the National Review revealed an unsettling trend among many Major League Baseball teams, at least 20 of whom have promoted or funded groups that either support or actively practice so-called ‘gender transitions’ on children.

Take for example the Detroit Tigers, who openly support organizations that actively practice mutilating the genitals of children.

At the checkout page for tickets to the Pride Night game, the Tigers website offered “a chance to support a local Pride organization of your choice,” with a drop-down menu that included LGBT-focused clinics such as the Ruth Ellis Center and Corktown Health, both of which perform medical gender transitions on minors. On top of masculinizing and feminizing drugs, at least one — the Ruth Ellis Center — included irreversible “gender affirming surgery” in its suite of “transition care for transgender youth” options. Another charity promoted by the Tigers, the Trans Sistas of Color Project, was actively funding groups such as “Trans Minors Rights,” which “advocates for empowering transgender youth to make their own decisions regarding puberty blockers” — i.e., “without requiring the consent of a parent.” (The group’s tagline: “Unblock blockers.”)

National Review stressed that this “Pride Night” held by the Tigers is “only the tip of the iceberg.” MLB apparently has an official Pride Resource Guide that lists numerous “social justice groups” who advocate for child gender-change operations.

At least six of the teams investigated by National Review apparently supported or funded groups that lobby against bans against child sex-change surgeries and pushed for policies such as “gender-affirming” class material for elementary school children. The groups additionally advocate for “trans-inclusive” K–12 sports, which is to say allowing men to play in women’s matches.

Attacks on the innocence of our youngest and most vulnerable remain pernicious in American society. An earlier August report by BLP featured a lawsuit filed against school officials in Clay County, Florida after they encouraged a child to transition herself to a man. The young girl’s parents allegedly were unaware of these efforts to groom the child into being transgender until she attempted suicide two separate times.
