REPORT: Racist Ralph Is Reading ‘Roots’ To Pretend He Is Not Racist

Racist Ralph Northam, the Democrat governor of Virginia, is reportedly reading “Roots” in a public-relations bid to salvage his failing governorship after Big League Politics published a blackface-KKK photo from Northam’s medical school yearbook page. Northam has admitted that he did darken his face in the past, purportedly in emulation of Michael Jackson.

Northam is clinging to office as his nemesis, lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax, is experiencing a multi-accuser sexual assault scandal leading many top Democrats including former governor Terry McAuliffe to call for Fairfax’s resignation.

Northam is trying to save himself by discovering African-American literature.

Buzzfeed News reports: “Northam doesn’t plan to hold any more press conferences any time soon. Advisers are in the midst of negotiations with major networks for a nationally televised interview they hope will humanize him. Additionally, his advisers have assigned the governor homework: He’s begun to read Alex Haley’s “Roots”, and “The Case for Reparations,” the seminal essay in The Atlantic by Ta-Nehisi Coates.”

Wow!

Somehow, it seems unlikely that the African-American community and social justice activists are going to let him off the hook for his racist past.
