Report Shows Trans Young People Have Doubled Since 2017

According to a new report from the Williams Institute, a research organization based at the UCLA School of Law, the number of younger teenagers who identify as transgender has nearly doubled in the U.S. over the last few years.

In fact, the number of transgender people aged 13 to 17 in the U.S. is almost twice what it was in 2017.

Just five years ago, the Williams Institute researchers estimated that around 0.7% of younger teens were transgender in America – making up around 150,000 teens. As of 2022, that number appears to sit around 300,000.

Moreover, the report indicates that transgenderism amongst teens and young adults is vastly larger than compared among adults. The institute claims that of the 1.6 million transgender Americans, 43% of that population consists of teens and young adults. This amounts to nearly one in five of 13 to 17-year-olds identifying as trans.

According to the study, when the population is older, the number of Americans who identify as transgender is less. The report’s data came from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, as well as the agency’s Youth Risk Behavior Survey.

If you have been paying attention to the rhetoric being broadcasted by the LGBTQ+ movement, especially during this year’s Pride Month, it’s clear that the emphasis on transgender themes cast upon young children is higher than ever before.

As Stella O’Malley, a psychotherapist who works with young people, told The Daily Wire: “It seems extraordinary that now 1 in 5 teenagers identify as trans.”

“It is notable that this rise is predominantly evident among teenagers and young adults – if it was spread out among all age groups then we would be merely witnessing a correction taking place, where people who previously felt unable to live as trans now felt free to do so. But this isn’t happening; instead something else is going on among teenagers and young people and it is imperative that clinicians, educators, and policy-makers carry out an in-depth analysis on this population,” she added.

O’Malley, alongside many other professionals who have had their voices muzzled by the corporate press in recent years, finds this spike alarming. They argue that much of the media is basing its transgenderism push on “untrue statistics.”

“Right now the data suggests that the risk of suicide remains both post-affirmation and post-transition. Sadly, there is no magic solution to life and suggesting that affirmation or medical transition will fix a person’s suicidality is a dangerous promise to make,” O’Malley stated.

Medical professionals who have been peddling puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and in some cases, surgical transitions, have flat out ignored the many negative side effects that could alter a child’s life forever.

These ramifications go virtually ignored by the corporate media, even though they ought to be met with compassion and real analysis by those pushing this movement full-throttle.

Woke institutions are using Pride Month as their excuse to make ground on normalizing LGBTQ themes – especially transgenderism. Going further than simply asking America to accept its members, to seeking to recruit more individuals (some as young as mere infants) into their ideology.

The examples are everywhere. But if you highlight them in any capacity, you will be deemed a bigot and potentially banned from social media despite viable evidence indicating that this whole experiment is affecting the lives of young children forevermore.

The data is showing a dangerous trend in America that many families are not willing to subscribe to if they can help it.
