Representatives From National Association for Gun Rights Send Petitions to ATF Headquarters

On the morning of  November 30, 2023, representatives from the National Association for Gun Rights delivered tens of thousands of petitions to the headquarters of ATF manifesting the organization’s opposition to the Biden regime’s and ATF’s executive actions to circumvent Congress and impose  de facto universal background checks on the American people.

These petitions were specifically delivered by Hunter King, NAGR’s Director of Government Relations, and Dudley Brown, NAGR’s President.

“The ATF and Joe Biden have a shameful history of making end runs around Congress and the Constitution to force their totalitarian style edicts on law-abiding citizens of the United States and we are sick of it,” declared Brown.

The Biden regime’s attempts to pass gun control through conventional legislative means have not been very successful. In turn, the Biden regime is using executive actions and the ATF’s regulatory powers to implement gun control.

“The history of gun registration is long and bloody,” declared Brown. “Regime after regime have tread the same path of gun controls leading to confiscation and disarming of law-abiding citizens.”

NAGR has been staunchly opposing universal background checks, which are the first steps towards gun confiscation, since the Toomey-Manchin attempt to impose this measure back in 2013. In that instance, NAGR put itself on the map as the fastest growing no compromise gun lobby in America.

It has been instrumental in making the passage of Constitutional Carry the policy standard in red states. For conservatives who want to see major policy changes — from cutting taxes to reducing the size of government —, they should study NAGR’s activism model assiduously and replicate it.
