Reps Adam, Omar, And Other Leftists Arrested Protesting Abortion Near Supreme court

‘The squad’ is back in business! Numerous members of Congress were arrested by Washington, D.C. police outside the Supreme Court Tuesday afternoon during a pro-abortion protest.
Those arrested included Representatives Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Alma Adams (D-NC), reported Fox News.
Omar proudly announced the events of that day via Twitter.
“Today I was arrested while participating in a civil disobedience action with my fellow Members of Congress outside the Supreme Court. I will continue to do everything in my power to raise the alarm about the assault on our reproductive rights! ✊🏽” Omar posted.

Staff belonging to Representative Adams allegedly took over her account to confirm and provide updates on the arrest.

Police officers on the scene cautioned demonstrators they would soon take action.
“It is against the law to block traffic, so officers are going to give our standard three warnings before they start making arrests,” posted the Capitol Police, before later adding that they would begin making arrests after previous attempts to give protestors a chance to leave the streets.
Capitol Police later announced there were 16 members of Congress among the arrested total of 34.
Videos posted of the incident showed Omar as well as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) walking near police with hands being their backs. No handcuffs were seen on AOC despite the position of her arms.

Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), who was also arrested on the scene, released a statement saying “there is no democracy if women don’t have control over their own bodies and decisions about their own health, including reproductive are.”
“I have the privilege of representing a state where reproductive rights are respected and protected – the least I can do is put my body on the line for the 33 million women at risk of losing their rights,” she said.
This news comes after a final opinion in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was released by the Supreme Court. The decision overturned the landmark case of Roe v. Wade.
The ruling prompted furious anger from leftists around the nation, including a Lesbian Marine Corps pilot who suggested that pro-life Americans may fall under the category of “domestic” enemies following the case’s outcome.
