Reps. Lauren Boebert and Thomas Massie Propose Bill to Stop Biden’s Ministry of Truth

Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO) have proposed legislation that would bring an end to Biden’s ministry of truth.

The Biden regime recently announced that they were starting a new agency headed by a far-left psychopath in order to police so-called disinformation on social media. The Orwellian implications of this proposal quickly earned outrage, and these liberty-oriented lawmakers want to stop this constitution-eviscerating project before it can get off the ground.

“I am cosponsoring [Rep. Boebert’s] legislation to eliminate the creepy new DHS “Disinformation Governance Board” (DGB). I assume the DGB is going to be tasked with spreading disinformation,” Massie wrote in a tweet on Thursday.

The legislation, H.R. 7641, states simply that “the Disinformation Governance Board of the Department of Homeland Security is hereby terminated.”

“No Federal funds authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available to the Department of Homeland Security may be made available to establishment or carry out the activities of any other entity that is substantially similar to the Disinformation Governance Board,” the legislation continues.

In addition to Boebert and Massie, 59 other lawmakers have signed onto the effort to put an end to the federal thought police as well:

“President Joe Biden’s newly-created Orwellian Disinformation Governance Board has already become a total laughing stock. As videos of its already embattled chief, Nina Jankowicz, have gone viral showcasing her singing about disinformation to the tune of the “Mary Poppins” song “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”

It is not hard to see why the Board has already been met with much mockery and derision after watching the video above.

Nor is it difficult to imagine that its actions will only further damage the already declining reputation of America’s major media outlets, which have lost the trust of a large segment of the population.

The Board’s very existence is a testament to the fact that these institutions are more concerned with preserving their own power than they are with serving the public.

In case you missed it: The Disinformation Governance Board, now dubbed by conservatives as the modern-day “Ministry of Truth,” was created in response to the spread of “disinformation” online, which is defined as “false or misleading information that is spread deliberately.”

But it is not clear how the Board intends to distinguish between genuine misinformation and opinions that simply differ from those of the mainstream media.

All that aside, critics have been quick to shed light on the fact that Nina Jankowicz is just 33 years old. Not to mention, she has only been working in the field of “disinformation” for a few years.

Here is another resurfaced video of Jankowicz singing about “who do I f***” to become “rich, famous, and powerful.”

When Psaki was asked about Jankowicz, she defended her by saying “she’s an expert on online disinformation,” and “this is a person with extensive qualifications.”

Now, Twitter users are reporting that Jankowicz has been busy today scrubbing all other videos like these, in an attempt to distance herself from her questionable background.”

The Biden regime is turning America into a laughingstock by design. This is part of the plan to cripple America so it can be subjugated beneath a globalist New World Order. Boebert, Massie and other lawmakers fighting for free speech should be praised for attempting to thwart this sinister agenda.
