‘Republican’ Justin Amash Explains Why He Supports Illegal Aliens Voting In America

Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) has staked his claim as being the ‘Never Trump’ champion of the open borders crowd, emerging to doggedly oppose Trump as he attempts to stop the crisis at the border.

After leading the charge with Congressional Democrats to oppose Trump’s emergency measures declaration on the border, Amash took heat for being the only Republican to oppose a resolution in favor of voter integrity last week.

After the vote, Amash took to social media as he usually does to defend his vote. This time, he gave the rationale was that it is proper under the constitution to permit non-citizens to vote in certain elections. Say what!?!?

Amash, who has been a career attorney and politician his entire life, showed his incredible ability to delude his libertarian followers with this tweet:

Amash’s evident support of illegal immigrants in the voting booth has earned him a great deal of praise from the mainstream media. After getting great headlines from a Soros’ funded rag, the fake news merchants over at CNN published a gushing profile on Amash earlier today.

CNN wrote what is essentially a public relations piece on Amash for his support of illegal immigration and militant opposition to Trump’s agenda:

For most Republicans, life in the House minority is a big change. But for Rep. Justin Amash, in a sense, it’s more of the same.

“It’s just a different set of people doing the wrong thing,” the Michigan Republican said in an interview with CNN…

And his fierce independence could be a sign of trouble for Republicans in the future: In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Amash recently declined to rule out running for president as a libertarian in 2020. “I would never rule anything out,” said Amash. “That’s not on my radar right now, but I think that it is important that we have someone in there who is presenting a vision for America that is different from what these two parties are presenting.”

CNN was thrilled to give a platform for Amash to throw his fellow members of the House Freedom Caucus, who have emerged as Trump’s most reliable supporters, under the bus as well:

Amash was the sole member of the caucus to vote against Trump’s use of emergency powers to seize funds for his long-desired wall along the southern border, even though the Freedom Caucus was known for lambasting President Barack Obama’s executive maneuvering to get around Congress.

“In some sense you’ve delegitimized objections to the President,” Amash said of his peers. “You’ve built up such credibility for him that you just can’t challenge him anymore.”

Asked if he’d thought about leaving the Freedom Caucus in recent months, the congressman admitted he has been “disenchanted” enough to consider it at times.

Amash is publicly flirting with the idea of jumping to the Libertarian Party to oppose Trump and siphon constitutionally-minded voters from him and assist the Democrats in the 2020 presidential election. CNN explains:

It’s not clear what’s next for Amash, whether another term in the House or something new. He admits he’s thought about everything from breaking away from the GOP to launching a presidential bid.

“I never stop thinking about these sorts of things,” he told CNN. “It’s not because I have any immediate plans or anything like that, but I never stop thinking about those things because there is a big problem with the current two-party system we have, and someone has to shake it up.”

“Now, is it possible for anyone to shake it up and make a difference?” he added. “I don’t know.”‘

In addition to getting praise from the mainstream media, Amash has emerged as the darling of corporate lobbying organizations like the Club for Growth which wants an abrupt end to President Trump’s ‘America First’ trade and immigration policies.

Amash appears to be emerging as one of the establishment’s top choices as opposition to President Trump.

By standing for non-citizen voting and supporting open borders, Amash is willing to stab his own constituents in the back to boost his own political star.

Perhaps, he needs a primary challenger for 2020 before he can hurt his party and his country further.
