Republicans: Biden’s ‘Screening Protocols’ Allowed Terrorists Into The US

The Senate Judiciary committee, is voicing concern over Biden’s lax screening for foreign nationals wishing to enter The US. This comes after after an Islamist foreign national took hostages at a Jewish synagogue in Texas only weeks after being allowed to legally enter the U.S..

On January 15 in Colleyville, Texas, 44-year-old Islamist national who lived in Britain, Malik Faisal Akram took four Americans hostage inside the Congregation Beth Israel synagogue. Following an 11-hour standoff, a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Rescue Team was able to rescue all four hostages while Akram was shot and killed by agents.

The Islamist terrorist arrived at John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport in New York City, New York on December 29 via a flight from the United Kingdom.

According to Breitbart, despite his being known to British intelligence agents due to his alleged involvement with Islamic terrorism, Akram arrived on either a tourist visa or through the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) that allows foreign nationals from 40 different countries to arrive in the U.S., without a visa, and remain for up to 90 days.

Now Senate Republicans, some who no doubt viewed President Trump’s wise travel ban as racist and Islamophobic are objecting to our lax visa program. In a letter to Biden’s top people, Republican senators write “that they are “extremely concerned about the adequacy of our visa adjudication and admission screening protocols.”

As Akram’s own brother told reporters: “How had he gotten into America? … Why was he granted a visa? How did he land at J.F.K. airport and not get stopped for one second?”

Political Correctness is shown to have deadly consequence and thus an immigration moratorium is prudent. Mayorkas and Blinken seem too busy with political correctness and in Blinken’s case policing Russia to be concerned with Islamic terrorists penetrating our country.

Biden’s visa policy is a sham. In a policy change, Biden is now allowing those seeking H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-2B, and F-1 visas to skip in-person interviews as a requirement to secure their visas. So much for the “extreme vetting” we were promised.
